Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and how to switch off the ones that are optional.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between page loads — what is in your cart, whether you are signed in, which pages you have visited.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by services we use, such as Google Analytics or Cloudflare. Those are called third-party cookies.
Strictly necessary
These make the store work. They cannot be switched off without breaking checkout.
- PHPSESSID — Keeps your session alive as you move between pages (this site)
- wp_woocommerce_session_* — Stores your cart contents (WooCommerce)
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart — Tells the page when your cart has changed (WooCommerce)
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* — Keeps you signed in to your account (WordPress)
- __cf_bm, cf_clearance — Distinguishes real visitors from bots (Cloudflare)
Several of these are marked HttpOnly, which means the browser will not expose them to scripts. That is a security measure — it stops a malicious script reading your session.
Functional
- wp-settings-1, wp-settings-time-1 — Remembers interface preferences for signed-in users (WordPress)
Analytics
These tell us which pages are used and where visitors arrive from. They are aggregated — we do not use them to identify you personally.
- _ga — Distinguishes one visitor from another (Google Analytics)
- _ga_2X46XP7P49 — Holds the session state for this property (Google Analytics)
- tk_ai — Aggregated site usage statistics (Jetpack)
Marketing and attribution
- __kla_id — Links a visit to your email subscription, if you have one (Klaviyo)
- sbjs_first, sbjs_current, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_migrations — Records which link or campaign brought you to the site, so an order can be attributed to its source (Sourcebuster via WooCommerce)
The attribution cookies record the referring site and campaign, not anything you type.
reCAPTCHA
Checkout and our contact form are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which sets its own cookies and collects device and behaviour signals to tell humans from bots. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to that.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies in its settings, usually under Privacy. You can block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear what is already stored.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in or complete a purchase. Blocking analytics and marketing cookies does not affect your ability to shop.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the services we use change. The date at the top shows the last revision. If we add a service that sets new cookies, it will be listed here.
