What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the contents of your order.

When you create an account we store your email, a hashed password, and any addresses you save.

When you contact us through the form or by email we keep your message and your email address so we can reply.

When you browse, we and our analytics providers collect technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site.

Why we collect it

• To process, pack, ship and support your order
• To take payment and to detect fraudulent or abusive transactions
• To answer your questions and handle returns
• To send you marketing email, where you have opted in
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who else handles your data

We share data only with the services needed to run the store. Each is bound by its own privacy terms.

• Authorize.Net — processes card and eCheck payments
• ShipStation — receives your name and delivery address to produce shipping labels
• Klaviyo — email marketing, if you have subscribed
• Google Analytics and Google Site Kit — site usage analytics
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects checkout and forms from bots
• Cloudflare — content delivery and security filtering
• MalCare — security monitoring
• Jetpack — site performance and protection features
• Google Workspace — delivers our transactional and reply email

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

Payments

Card and eCheck payments are handled by Authorize.Net. Your card details are transmitted directly to them over an encrypted connection and are not stored on our servers.

Checkout is served over TLS 1.3, the current web encryption standard.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who have opted in. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notices and replies to your own questions.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and your logged-in session working. The site cannot function without them.

Analytics cookies tell us which pages are used and where visitors arrive from. You can block cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, checkout will not work.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.

Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your account and associated data
• Stop sending you marketing email

Email info@deezsmokeshop.com and we will action it. We may need to keep order records where the law requires it, even after an account is deleted.

Children

This site is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their state of residence. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email info@deezsmokeshop.com and we will remove it.
